I read through these threads for several months before creating an account a few months ago. There is a common theme I have noticed. There are a lot of people who don't seem to like the industry they work in. They also don't seem to want anyone else to be happy or successful. You just need to look at how this industry is interwoven into the economy of our country. If trucking fails this country has failed and my truck payment is not going to matter. Without entrepreneurs there would be no jobs. People willing to take a risk to build something on their own should be complimented more and criticized less. Off my soapbox.

Grow up no ones MAD at you  just quoted in RED so it stands out and having been in trucking longer than you I know the highs and lows just pointing out some TRUTH / HISTORY

Done with this thread as its useless going in circles trying to tell something to someone who knows it all but can not get a grasp on how the ECONOMY works and the effect it has on trucking

My point is why are you bringing this up on a thread about me starting on Choice. If you have an opinion on trucking and our economy, start your own thread about it. You ignored completely my point about being negative and instead reinforced it by continuing to be negative. I do not know everything, but neither do you. My opinion is just as valid as yours.

I will learn to only post negative items and talk about how I am going into this planning to fail. I am so sorry for my past positive attitude.

I'm trying REALLY hard to be positive.
But the industry has been chipping away at me for years..

But for the Greater Good..I will smile and wave instead of tail whipping my fellow Drivers.

Nobody is saying you can't have an positive attitude. Let me ask ya, do you have any experience as a lease/owner operator at all? Do you have a business plan, do you have a exit strategy???? A lot of people are intrigued with being their own boss, do you know what lanes to run or are you gonna figure it all out when you get there?

As someone stated to me, being seatmeat and a lo/oo has different responsibilities.
