I think what he's trying to say is that if your radio has been screwed up too much in the past that might be cheaper to start out with a new radio cuz on some really hacked up radios I've actually watched mark spend about 12 hours on a radio that I had hacked up but the radio that DTB did for me it only took Mark 2 hours to do that one

Ok..got it..to many names floatin around neing compared in different radio forums..Kinda got lost as to who was who..tks..
Kinda off topic..does jumper length matter at all as long as its a 50ohm?? Say from radio to swr/modulation meter or radio to linear.. I know i need some better coax cause i cant get my impedence/resistance down..Starts at high 50's on 1 and in low 70's on 40..My resonance is low single digits on 1 and by the time in just into 27,053 area till 27600ish im perfectly resonate..
Jumper length is a touchy subject around here the guys that say it doesn't matter all their customers are mud ducks.
Watch "coax fundamentals" on YouTube After you watch this video maybe you could figure out for yourself if you think it matters based on what you see in the video. Keep in mind there's no such thing as a perfect 50 ohm Input on a garage built amplifier available at Radio shops.
