Dump trucking questions

Anybody have opinions on an 87 Pete with the 350 Cummins big cam 4? Truck supposedly has 175k frame miles and 13k on a rebuilt motor. Theyve also rebuilt the 8LL transmission, new clutch, 2 year old 4.11 gears, new rockwell rear ends, and new hydraulic pump. The current owner bought it from a farmer and uses it to pull a pup. Wants 25k for it. If the truck is in sound enough shape it might be a better way to get started with a new business. I'd personally rather sink alitle money into repairing an older truck than spend another 20k+ for a newer one that could also need several repairs.

What about electrical issues on a truck this old? I'm guessing if something went wrong and I had to replace the wiring harness it would have to be custom made or steal one from a wrecked truck..
