Those I have spoken to in my company don't seem to have as many power problems as I do, I suspect it is this particular truck. Hopefully in a month I will get something better *crosses fingers*

I don't know about the new opti idle but in the orignal opti idle battery voltage was 1 of the parameters. I suspect the company settings could be the issue.

They didn't replace them with new ones and they didn't do anything but replace them - no checking connections, no checking grounds etc. ...
It could be just a case of one bad battery that is pulling the rest down but then they all have to be replaced as a set.
I have trucks that the drivers run what ever they have for hours and hours on fresh batteries until the truck kicks on to charge them and they don't take more than an hour to charge them up. Everything points to bad batteries.amanwithcrabs Thanks this. -
The problem with grilling is the clean up, but it's a good mood booster and is worth it in the end, like a workout. I would grill all of the time if team driving.
It just seems a little weird doing it alone for some reason, like going to a movie theater alone, though I have done both plenty of times..amanwithcrabs and Sirscrapntruckalot Thank this. -
BUT WHY isn't opti idle keeping them charged up. aTHAT's what I don;t get. -
when they deplete so fast, there is a problem with the batteries themselves.
A lot of fleets won't properly check the batteries, they just change one or two and that's it and the bad one drags it down.
On the other hand it could be the charging system and the batteries are being ruined by such long charge times. -
