My 2013 was trouble free until about 700k and then went off a cliff ...I had it fixed ...permanently.
The 100 truck fleet I'm leased to has finally thrown up their hands and cut trade cycles to 300k ...and that's with apus and no idle time .
    Wish you well !

It's interesting to read about all this.

    I wish everyone good luck.

Myself, it just makes me even more thankful for the mighty Big Cam.

Yes. If it came with emissions from the factory, it has to be left on.
I've heard that some shops in small towns will over look it, but don't know of anyone locally.
I'm not going to start bribing anyone.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

Sounds like a $4,000 service every couple years.
Actually $2,000 / year isn't at all bad.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

Alberta. The last safe haven for redneck Canadians. We don't check here (yet).

    Pamela1990 and Oxbow Thank this.

I will also order sensors when the trucks are new, and keep them in stock, so when they fail, I have them already.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

You have to upgrade, but I suspect you might miss your yellow engine.

I hope they all work well for you.
