what training?
when I started to drive, I had to have to take a test with 10 questions, pay my $6 and I could drive a truck.
Didn’t need 120 hours of training, didn’t need to take five tests or two part road test, just get 7 questions right like “What do you do when you come up to a stop sign?” with two choices and I is a trucker.
The job was just as dangerous than as now, but now the trucks drive like Lincoln and Cadillacs, so no longer people are being beaten half the death in a box that is 90 degrees with two fans blowing air on you in the middle of winter, but rather they are so distracted by their phone because they don’t have to keep two hands on the wheel because of a lack of power steering and eating so much crap they are so fat that their risk of a coronary is greater than sitting on the couch playing video games.Star Rider, xsetra, supergreatguy and 5 others Thank this. -
