New or not it does happen. Rings never seated and it's passing oil.

Why can you not get warranty??

We are trying to help but your not listening

It looks like a bendix compressor to me.

Yes they can be bad from new. I always do a break in with a new compressor.

I crack a air tank and run the truck on high idle and let the compressor cycle for an hour to seat the rings

Having said that , I've still returned new compressors for warranty for passing oil.

    SAR Thanks this.

Ok, if have oil coming out the blowby of the engine, you have something wrong with engine. Crankcase is being pressurized and oil cannot drain from the compressor housing. I would be doing blow by tests next.

oil is NOT leaking out of the blowby tube... again thats why this is a mystery and why i am focusing on the air system

Ok, your story is not making sense as you keep changing the facts of the symptoms.
You did say oil is coming out of the blow by still! I reread your post over and over and I keep reading oil is coming out of the blowby. Are you confusing the blowby and purge valve, because they are not the same and totally different things!!!

I'm guessing he's confusing the blow by tube with the air drier purge valve
