I know what you mean by the zombie feeling. Especially when they mix it up on me with a day shift after giving me a day off. Already on night schedule and it just throws me out of whack. By the way it was the Medford terminal, not Portland that has been pissing me off.

 

I know. You need to really check the other taxes. Thing is, you kind of have a choice on some of them where a state tax you don't. Every tax out here is high! I know South Dakota is cheap to live in but aint happening. As long as we stay away from the west coast and the east coast, I'm good. My registration was 198 bones for a 1998 Nissan Maxima!

 

tell me about the zombie feeling. I get off a 14 hr shift and go to college full time. So I have homework, papers and a bunch of crap else to do, plus make sure all my bills get paid plus a million other things.. Sat mornings I walk in drop my dirty clothes, kick my boots off and rack out on the carpet.

 

Urggg had an accident today. Stupid wreck less switcher at rail yard backed into me as I was driving. Since he hit me the shop steward says its s non preventable. Calling the BA tomorrow to let him know as well

 

Wow I'd pass out on the floor too. I can't even keep my eyes focus on reading stuff after my shift. Going to school would be tough doing this.

Yeah here nothing but nights. Yeah changing days to nights got me into trouble my last job. But I didn't have a day in between. But still trying to adjust takes acouple of days.

 

Im only worried about the report... The supervisor will obviously side with the switcher, and the cop who was there is a NOrfolk southern cop... so he works for them and am sure he will side as well

 

Centuryclass, I don't know how you do it. I'm taking one online class at the local community college and struggling! It is a summer class though so they are a bit tougher. Still, full time! Not happening for me.

Got a 143 run. No rail today I guess lol. Been going there all week and won't have to worry about ####### lol
