Came down with an ear infection yesterday so I had to jump off the truck from my partner and go see a doctor today. All is well. Good thing is I get to do something totally different. I get to run nothing but turns for the next two days. That's something I've never done in the 10 years I've worked for this company. It's been 17 months since I've been in a truck by myself. Hope I don't get claustrophobic in those little day cabs.

You must be sick of driving that truck to go through all that lol! Are you looking to do something else? I wouldn't blame you.

I have know some CWF drivers that have it good too, but they are far and few. Most of them have 20 years with the company too.

Nope not looking to do anything different. Don't have enough seniority in Chicago to do much else. I was obligated to do 2 tours so I did. Had a short 350 mile turn the first night and a long 600 mile turn the next night. I gotta say doing those turns was a quick reminder to me of just how much work was involved in running teams. Felt like I was on vacation doin turns. Lol
