Only way to know is to work for yrc part time after your full time job and or days off. That gives you the best of both if you need the $$$$

 

Did anyone get a letter in the mail from the YRCW el Presidente?

 

Yep I got one in the mail today talking about refinancing debt

 

translation...YRC has so much debt that we won't be able to give you a good contract coming up, but stick with us and be loyal anyway. "we are all in this together...you give and the company keeps"

 

Even with all the brand new trailers and tractors coming... Do miss it there. My truck now reminds me of my days there

 

"We are presently on a 15% give back, and YRC is looking to extend the contract an additional 5 years. While I have not been privy to the outcome of the recent meeting in Texas between "YRC and the Teamsters", YRC is attempting to avoid bankryptcy, and I can only assume that it is going to cost us dearly!"

 

YRC is never going to go back to the way it was. I seriously doubt the economy will either.

 

It's a shame too, was a great place to work as well, but that -15 every week in my stub killed me, just wish they wouldn't show that

 

The YRC teamsters ate making up these shirts, not saying what local, but they are looking to sell these
