Hey guys!! Sorry again for not being around that much. These sleeper teams wear you out pretty good. I received my biggest pay heck in my life two weeks ago. $2500.00. It was for 6,450 miles and almost 19 hours of clock time. Really was a good paycheck but turned out to be a very looooooong week. We were kinda slow at 309 the first couple weeks of the month but things seem to have picked up again. Our new bids are posted today and my partner and I might change to a different sleeper bid. Not real sure yet. Gotta see what's on there. Left 841 yesterday morning on our way to 309. Should arrive at 309 around 19:00. Have to grab a different truck cause the one we are in needs to be serviced. I hate switching trucks. No Pizza Hut for me. Chicago is home of some of the best pizza in the world!!!! Be safe guys.

 

I've been to Gino's East, good pizza.

 

Never had good old Brooklyn pizza then!!! Well can't say I ever had Chicago pizza though so can't say. My uncle has so ill ask him.

Well slow day for us. Traffic was insane getting to work, took me almost a hour! When I got there the others weren't there either but were creeping in. Go inside the lounge and at 8 the stewards come in and say hey sry no work today. So myself and the bottom guy were like ok. Time cards get handed out and two guys are a no show, so we get there runs for the day. After we tell the dispatcher and punch the other two walk in and weren't too happy they now had to go home

 

Morning from Nashville. That was a nice run (Grand Rapids, MI -> Nashville, TN). Man, I'm jonesin for some fruit. There's a Kroger across the street. Think I'll walk over there and get me some kind of fruit arrangement. Or, I could get a Snickers Bar & bottle of water from the vending machine. Or, I could lay back down & catch some more ZZZZZZs. Tough decisions, my life is complicated.
