It appears a quite beautiful place.

I have a cousin who lives in one of those American onclaves down there somewhere.

No wonder he likes it there.

It's sure a lot different looking than what I've experienced in the border towns.

I'm convinced that CA is a 3rd world country! Spend a week driving their freeway truck lanes and your kidneys will hurt and maybe even bruise a prostate (guys only!). Sometimes that stretch between Reno & S.F. of I-80 (with all the cracks and potholes) can beat the crap out of a driver---have run it in a Century, Volvo, and longnose Peter 379---it was bearable with the Pete!! :biggrin_25521:

So anybody got an idea when CA is suppose to fall off into the ocean??? Soon, I hope........:biggrin_25522:

I-80 all the way to Reno isn't miserable; as soon as you hit the state line up there the road is as smooth as a baby's bottom.:biggrin_25512:

...try driving the truck lane in a big truck---I have for over 7 yrs!! It has cracks all the way to Auburn in that rocky-concrete truck lane---face it, CA is 3rd world and a poor, broke state---no longer 'The Golden State"...think it's now "The Gol Darn State!" :biggrin_25522:

Oh, yes, and BTW you chose to live there.....:biggrin_25513:

I think you missed my point that the road is crap until you hit Nevada. Guess my jokes aren't funny to anyone else this late at night.
