Fitzgerald Gliders might be getting more attention than they’d like

All these discussions are useless the most important reason to run a glider is so you can wake everyone up at the pilot with your pipe music those Jake's in the new trucks are just no fun

I could probably go on for pages about the global warming (wait, that didn't work) climate change topic.
Most of my thoughts have already been at least touched upon, so I'll pass on that, however:

My father was a Forest Entomologist, and actually had two sub-species of insects named after him. Suffice it to say that I am open minded regarding scientists.
The problem is, any time a scientist begins any research with the intent of discovering data that will support a desired conclusion, all of that data is tainted and useless.
Remember the group of scientists in the UK that got caught with their knickers down when it was discovered that they had manipulated their data to support their global warming alarmist agenda?
And then you have folks like the not so honorable Al Gore flying around in his personal jet, trying to scare us into saving the planet by spending money on Carbon Credits. I have no desire to line the pockets of such a hypocrite.
The shame of all this is that there is a lot of good science and scientists on both sides of the ideology that cannot be trusted due to agenda driven results.
My conclusion, which has already been suggested in this thread, is that the likelihood of mankind being able to manipulate our climate to what some think is the way it should be, is preposterous.

Climate change has nothing to do with emissions. Climate changes because as the earth rotates east/west, it also slightly rotates north/south causing more sunlight coverage on the earth causing it to heat.

Older glider engines used emissions is no where near what it used to be, must of the emissions were greatly reduced with we switched to low sulfur diesel fuel. An older pre-emissions engine emits a very small amount while the newer emissions emit even less emissions until the emissions systems fail and cause them to emit huge amount of emissions.

If your want to argue/discuss topics, you should really do your research and not just from biased sector.

The megas buy new trucks so they can go to Cali, buy them a lot cheaper than gliders and used them up until they start requiring more maintenance costs. If your going to buy a truck to keep for its life, glider all the way. If you buy a new truck every 2/3 years buy whatever you want.
