FMCSA proposal for continuous monitoring

I really don’t understand what is driving their desire to micromanage trucking…maybe I should ask where is the money coming from???

 

Yes, kind of, but I just want to be left alone and do my thing. I generally don’t have anything to hide…but sometimes I go to fast down hills, drive by a scale, run a stop sign, over estimate the yellow time on a stoplight…and my all time favorite need a few more hours on my logbook. Ok maybe I do that last thing on purpose lol So now I will be getting nice letters in the mail asking for donations….for things that were probably an honest mistake and didn’t hurt anyone.

 

Easy way to profit off of one of the largest industries in the US without upsetting the public.

Combine the negative public perception of trucks and the facade of government intervention being for safety, and it's perfect for a little extortion.
