    We did Raman Noodles, mixed with steak for three years. Made the payments on time, Now it's Steak & Raman Noodles. But We make the choice.

    i do ramen and eggs. steak not that big a deal and takes too long to cook. LOL.

    Saddletramp I think "WE" is the key word! As a husband/wife team there is a lot more profit margin in the lease. If you're running 6000-7000 miles a week then its not such a bad deal. As a solo though it just doesn't work.

    379exhd what's even more funny is that there is no way there getting paid $1.50 a mile running for either of those companies! Maybe $.85 at the most! Plus they must only be into week two of their lease! Usually the first month the company tries to give the new lease operators lots of miles so that they pay down the initial costs of signing that lease. Just like they do the new drivers or trainees. They are hardly paying them anything to run freight so they want to run as much freight as they can while they are paying them bare minimum.
