Most companies won't take any drivers with suspensions in the past 3 years. Some are 5 years.

On DUI/DWI most companies require 5, 7 or 10 years. Some are 3 years and some are none ever.

I don't believe you will find any company that will take you while on probation.

less than 1 hour ago, I got pulled over by a deputy for speeding. The deputy let me go with a written warning since i was going about 80 on a 70 (on I-95). This is the 1st ever incident/citation I've received in my 4.5 years of having a class E/Standard License.

I fear I may have just put the kibosh on my plans to go into trucking. Is this true?

If it was just a warning you should be ok. I got a written warning for speeding by a Texas state trooper a few months back and it does not show up on my record.

i guess the question is did you have a standard lic to drive a car? if you did have a lic. i would go a head and apply. if the company your apping to work for wants 3 years trk/trl experance then you are probly hooped. but still apply and try they might take a risk. never know till you try.

How far back on someone's driving record can companies find out things about? I had 2 DUI's (both reduced to alcohol related reckless, both misdemeanors, and I did not have my license suspended for either one). One was back in 1995 and the other was back in 1996, so they are much longer than 10 years ago.
I hate that some companies state that I am disqualified if I've had more than one DUI in a lifetime. Do they really find out if it is that old?

Another question. When they ask about DUI's, if I put yes, then in details put "1995-1996", then after I'm hired they find out it was 2 DUIs, will they fire me or can I say I reported it by saying "1995-1996" (one in each year). Does that make sense?

in my state of nh. a dui falls of your record in ten years but in ma. it never leaves your record,it all depends on your state. i would call your dmv in your state and ask them, they would give me more security then an anwser from here ya know. have you gotten a copy of your driving record? i would start there to see what it says then call dmv and ask questions.

This may have been answered up above by big john for someone else but I'm asking for clarity as my situation may be a bit different. My license was suspended for failure to pay on a "fix-it" ticket(cracked windshield) so it was a non-moving violation. I have now paid the ticket and in another week or 2 will go to my tag/tax collector office and pay them$60 to get my license reinstated. I won't have any kind of probation for this and again the suspension was for failure to pay on a non-moving violation. Does this type of suspension fall under the 3-5 year mark most companies are asking for?

Edit: Should probably also add that I have not received any tickets of any kind other than this one in well over 4-5 years, never have been charged or convicted of a crime of any sort and am a veteran that received an honorable discharge in 2001.
