In-n-Out isn't bad as long as you remember to ask them NOT to put Thousand Island on it!

Five Guys is good, Fudruckers is awesome!, Wendy's ain't bad, Whataburger used to be better but still good, and Burger Box in Euless, TX (at least I think it's still there on Industrial Blvd...).

I like any place that fills my order as I request.
Cheese burger with pickle, lettuce, tomato & then I add pepper.
Put mayo or mustard or ketchup or anything else and it goes right into the trash can and then I'm in a foul mood for hours after the waiter/waitress insists that "Everyone loves mayo and mustard and ketchup." Well, I don't. I hate that nasty stuff and refuse to eat it. Geeeze!

Denny's is a real surprise when you sit down and feel like just eat and get it over syou order a burger, and it is actually surprisingly a great burger, possibly the best choice to be made at Denny's.

Best burger are made right here in the patio, Hickory wood burning down to coals in the Barbi, I start off with 1 lb chuck roast. 1 lb ground sirloin, 1 lb pork shoulder, grind them together, add Lawry's season salt, pepper, chili powder, and on to the grill to a nice medium to medium rare. Pull the scratch Homebaked Kaiser rolls out of the oven, slice toast add Tilamok sharp cheddar pop back into the broiler till melted, add Provolone cheese to the burgers on the grill. Fresh Carmelized grilled onions, Lettuce (out of the garden of course) homemade dill pickle. My wife even makes the Mayo and catsoup.

Sorry for this post, we normally have homemade chili available on burger day as well but last night when I got home the wife had been taking it easy..... She forgot the chili, but this time she get forgiven....

Oh Yea, I carry a single grill Habachi, comes with a cover. Great, also carry a cast iron skillet that works very well with it, and a sauce pan. Love to fire up bacon n egg hash browns in a snow covered rest area, fresh hot coffee. Dont know why always end up with company..

Yup, Denny's has the best hamburger that's always accessible by a truck driver.

A little fact. Flying J sells burgers, not hamburgers. It's illegal to call something a hamburger unless it's made of 100% ground beef. Me and a Flying J went at it in a friendly way once. We ended up going out back and sure enough, it had bread fillers and other ingredients listed on the box.

Sometimes it depends how hungry you are too!

I had a hectic day today, and realized I hadn't eaten anything for a while. I went through drive through and got one of those new triple cheeseburgers at micky d's.

I can't even remember the last time I went there, and let's just say it's doubtful I'll be back in 2015.

I sure do feel for you guys who are on the road, it's unfortunate that your most convenient option is fast food.
