I LOVE my dog, but never will I have a pet on board. I am currently ripping truck apart to clean up the hidden areas the cleaners don’t get to. Someone and their pet trashed this one. Get a little pitbull rescue.

Awesome dogs. Loving and friendly and don’t shed a lot. Plus. They scare the uninitiated.

Keep some wet wipes for the feet; lots of piss in parking lots from two leg dogs. You don't want it tracking in piss paws then jumping in the sleeper.
Piddle pads also for back up. Train it how to use in case of energy.

A week or so ago at the Wichita Falls J, I saw a beautiful muti-color adult pit roaming the parking lot. The dog seemed to not have any behavioral issues that I could see. Still had a collar and was in great health. Obviously some truck driver must have abandoned the animal. It was going to and smelling at every truck desperately looking for it's "master" and wondering WTH is going on. He would look hopeful at any driver sitting in a truck, practically pleading for someone to adopt him again.

Beagles are awesome they'll be happy to sleep on your pillow while you hammer down or eat all of your treats. And the hipsters and yuppies haven't bred them to death like with other breeds. Plus you never know when you'll have to shoot down the Red Baron.

A lot of customers don't allow pets if they know about them. Food and chemical plants come to mind. smaller dogs are easier to hide, but they need out for potty more often than a big dog. A rent a cop may more easily look the other way for a chihuahua than a pit bull. It's not all fun and games with a dog in the truck, but it's a lot of fun and games.
