So I have been doing my homework over the past 2 weeks or so extensively before getting ready to go to CDL school in January. I have drawn my decisions between Crete and Schneider. Now when I was on the phone with the military recruiter for Crete, she was telling me how the new trucks are no longer being ordered from International and the fleet is going to be switching to Freightliner.

What are you thoughts on this? Just curious to see what you guys say about these trucks you currently have and what you have heard or experienced with the freight shakers.

All that means is that freightliner gave them a better deal or the sales lead was hot!

not a crete driver, however i have driven both models.
the prostart with a cummins/10 is pretty nice. Maxxforce/auto sucks, no balls
the cascadia with the dd15/10 is pretty nice. DD s60 /10 spd is pretty nice too.
it all depends on how they are setup

yeah she said that they were getting hit heavy with major repairs in the Internationals which is what was driving them towards the Freightliner. She said that they were looking a lot of the current fleet in the next year or two.
