Pros
employee dedicated, excellent benefits, friendly staff, paid holidays, o/t after 45.
Cons
driver facing cameras.

Very organized. Yes we have driver facing camera's, but if you know how to drive its just another tool. The TM's and Mangers are all awesome. Happy I made the jump to Saia.

Pros
they will hire just about anyone
Cons
they will hire just about anyone. Equipment maintenance, trailer maintenance, trucks run 73 mph

My review is for the Toyota Dedicated out of Georgetown KY. The office is ran for the company in mind FIRST, not the drivers. You will be ran to death or if you are new, as little as they need you. It is off of a bid system, so if your low man on the totem pole, you get the crap. It is 40 cpm, all miles. They don't tell you that holidays are NOT paid for and Toyota shut downs are NOT paid for. SO that is about 3 weeks un paid. You are expected to take vacations only during the toyota shut downs, no other time or it is severely frowned upon. The Equipment is severely below par. They have maintenance staff on site at the yard, but they are so back logged that they do not have the capabilities to keep up with the demand. The trailers are maintained by a non english speeking staff that does the bare minimum to get your trailers back on the road. The trucks are nasty. Most of them are all filled with filth from years of cigarette smoke. If asked to get a truck cleaned, they whipe it down and that is it. Dispatch will push you to get these trucks to just "run" and do what you need to in order to keep that contracted toyota load on time. Multiple times I was stuck with a truck with leaks, air leaks, and told theres no spares and had to do it or i could take the pay cut and go home and they would cover it. These trucks run 73 mph and sometimes you HAVE to run full speed no matter the speed limit just to make the time limits. They have some runs that are over 600 miles in one day.... nice miles but they don't want to hear anything about running out of hours.
