Apply to haul fuel,,,more money, but more work. They will hire and train you and generally home daily. KAG,,PAULS or any of the usual suspects need fresh blood,,any blood. You should only work 5 days a week,,,less once you hit 40,,nobody here gets out alive.

it’s not that people don’t want to work we all have bills to pay ,I think it has more to with people wanting a normal life and work schedule .just because we all choose to be truck drivers doesn’t mean you can’t have a normal life .Lots of jobs out there where u can have a normal life/schedule,the challenging part is finding a well paying one . MB pays very well and i think if the op can deal with how they operate will do well down the road but i know i couldn’t handle the job .I should have never applied and wasted everyone’s time .It’s still a little weird they’re still calling me from when i applied last year through

I'm with you. Make it as boring as possible. I have podcasts and a non-stop carnival in my head. I'll be fine.

That’s what I mean about not wanting to work. The guys that just quit were all young. MB doesn’t have any hand bombing anymore. The schedule sucks when you start but it gets better the longer you’re there. The best drivers we get come from Sysco or Gfs. We only have to work 4 days a week.

I often wonder how companies like MB ,Sysco or Gfs will survive in years to come they’re always hiring and it doesn’t seem like the young generation or new immigrants want to do that kind of work anymore.I also wonder how restaurants will get their stuff with out drivers ,that’s one line of work i can’t see robots taking anytime soon

You should try MB or GFS or Sysco.
The pay is better. The commute might be horrible, though.
And the seniority might stick sideways your plans for a nicer career.

There will always be men ready to 'enslave' themselves for the sake of a wife and children.
Family survival is a powerful motivator for men born in other cultures.

The new guys quit or they get fired for underperforming.
