I'm just wondering if I have a bad draw, or if something wacko happened, buddy of mine quit after hearing about what they did to me, and it took them 8 days to get him to turn in his truck at SLC because they wouldn't give him a load going close to there. In fact, in 8 days, they got him 360 miles closer to SLC then he was, and then they gave him a way overgrossed trailer that they knew was massively overgrossed (What, they think we don't talk to each other out here or something?) and as soon as he scaled it, he said, you have two hours or I'm bobtailing back to SLC.
Needless to say he bobtailed from Denver to SLC.
Getting forced to haul a load, with a wrecked truck?

I am starting with them monday as well. I hope that these are isolated incedents and not the first signs of an overall downward spiral for the company.
I just wonder if the higher ups have any idea that these things are starting to happen. I had not heard anything really bad about the company till recently.
I go to Medina tomarrow for refresher training, and to Conley a week from Monday.
Please keep me and others posted, and I will post what happens when I get going. If the company is going into a dive then other drivers need to know. -
hi, i am to start with them on the 25th of june, Think i will look at other companys

I will be there for 3 days, let me know where to look and what to look for and I will let you know if I see it. I don't know if they will let me wander around too much though. I should be there a week from Monday at some point. I just need the refresher here.

For the love of Pete quit while you still can. -
wait if you said SLC then i can only think of 2 companys out thier CR england -n- prime but that sounds more like C.R. England style -
i would follow that advice Brickman, but I allready finished my 2 weeks notice at work and trained my replacement.
I now have no job and to get a job in over the road trucking I need to have a company that I can get a refresher with and such.
So I am basicly there for the training and if I get the miles that I need without much hassle then I will not have an issue. If it starts to become an issue I can allways reevaluate later. Sure I would be out a little money, but if I can get the experiance I need to move it will be more than worth it.
By the way, it is Central Refregerated we are discussing. -
Good luck Chrome. I would not want to be in your shoes.
