Does anyone know if at crete do u take trucks home or park them at a truck stop or somewhere near your home
QC does have some new trucks with automatics . I don't think they have any at Calvert City but the affiliate owner did say he'd consider buying one if he hired a driver under the military program .
why not try to go ptad and use tuition assistance to get your truck schooling done? That is what I did, like two months before I left the marines, my CO approved my PTAD and tuition assistance request to go to a Truck Driving School. that way i didnt have to use my GI bill.
Good choice, tankers. That's where the money is. There's a dry bulk tanker company in Hopkinsville (Bulkmatic)but don't know if they are hiring, just walk in and ask face to face is better than a phone call. The best money will be with tanker and flatbed next. You can make over $60K per year doing hazmat/tanker. And, yes, a new driver can get those jobs.
