Glad you are all right. I had a guy in a car hauler hit the back of my tank and run up the left side 2 weeks ago. Got to watch the whole thing as I was walking back to my truck at the rest area. Fortunately it didn't hurt my tractor and we were able to pump the load over to another tank the next morning. I even delivered it on time. Hit me hard enough to break the spring hanger welds on the rear trailer axle.

    Hey buddy.....

I dont expect he'll be around long enough to get acquainted. Tater was taken to the shop today (kicking and screaming, I reckon), and they are expecting a fast turnaround.... probably a week and a half.

    Gawd I miss him.....

Don't worry, I got to see the snow for you. Counted 12 cars off the road and 1 van. 2 of them had flipped over. It got a little dicey there for a while, but Tater limped his damaged little self right through. And I got to see a bunch of that rain too. Brrrrr......

Yeah,,,,, I do...... hehehehehe. SImple stuff. Go pee in a cup, fill out a squadload of paperwork, watch videos, listen to lectures (Richard, by the way, is a very good speaker) and that kind of stuff. More than likely Leith will take you for a roadtest where he will be riding around Fargo with you. Pay close attention to all of the signs, because he will ask you what one of them was. THen he will take you to an underpass that is labeled 13' 6". You'll clear.... just go slow. THen you will go back up to a dock.

You will stay at the motel up the street. They have a little continental breakfast thing. I recommend the waffles.

And while you are in class, Carla will be making lunch..... and the girl can cook. It's not stiffling, but you'll get your fill. Request the sloppy joes if she doesnt make them on the first day.... you'll be glad you did.

THe guy was a total podunk..... I couldn't believe he did it. How ya doin?

GRacious.... I feel I got off lucky then. Did you feel violated too?

Not so much but all the damage was to the trailer. I don't get very attached to them. Next morning I pulled the same load in a different trailer. Just had to run a little harder but got paid 6 hours for my troubles.'

Hey Scooter, I've been enjoying your posts since you started this thread...very informative and entertaining too! Have you published your book yet? If so, how does a guy get a copy of it? Thanks man, and keep up the good work! PS I'm hoping to join the Magnum family in the very near future!

I have a gmail account and go by the name truckerdawg. Shoot me an email and I will get you a copy. In respect to the people here, I do not do business on the forum. I am basically printing the book myself and cutting out the middleman. There are a few people who have gotten the book and have given me some great input. But I will be happy to get you a copy as well....... the book costs $700 (no, just kidding) ten bucks. But I would like to think it would provide you with some information that will help you in the future.

Magnum is a great starter company. They have some great people and I hold many of them in very high regard.

I appreciate the comments about the thread. Entertaining? Well, good....
