That and they are probably lowering their standards as far as drivers since so many are leaving...gotta fill them seats

And I agree with you as a lot of the safety messages that come out are due to the fact that somebody has done that recently so you will probably be right.
Same as the recent load issue, I'm sure some had a load shift or damaged some customers freight because of the way it was loaded.
I read them, make note if its something that effects me and move on as to not let it effect my day.

My last 3 are $0, $645, $0 but this week will be a good one because I turned in over 5400 miles and 10 stops (8 paid) last Thursday and next week will be good because I will turn in over 4100 miles with 1 paid stop on Friday. And, I have had a restart every week since leaving home (on July 1), I will have 2 this week.

If one of those 0's is from being home and you didn't drive you're still doing ok. 2500+ miles a week for 4 weeks. If not then that is kind of crappy lol

Which is why I almost had something nice to say earlier. It has taken me running 650-700+ miles a day once I get a load just to play catch up...but, after a 5300 mile June (in 3 weeks) it will take more than just one good month to get back to what I was averaging thru May. I'm not sure why June always sucks for me, not just here, pretty much every company I've driven for I always get bad miles in June. Guess mom and dad don't have extra cash to spend since they have to pay someone to watch their kids during summer break from school.

I have a question for our longer term Poly's. How close to your physical's expiration date do they like to get the new physical done? When I was a Creten, they like to do it up to a month early. I know here, they do your annual road test up to 2 weeks early. The reason I ask is, I will be on the yard tomorrow, and it's the 1st time I've been in GP since July 4th (errrr.....excuse me tucker and Siri.. Independence Day). So, with my track record of staying away from the compound for weeks, should I prepare to be snagged and sent to the medic?

Yes! There is a good chance they'll want you to go get it done. They like to do it about a month early and you don't want to get close on it or you might end up being put out of service on it. I would definitely give someone in Compliance a ring on it when you get a chance. Hope that helps! Take care out there!

Well, I escaped doing my physical. Was told they can do them up to 45 days before the expiration, but they won't shut you down until 14 days before.

Plus I got out new fuel book...uuuuuuugh. less Love's more Flying Peelots and more T/A's...which sucks because of Peelot's shower power program means I have to go the 1st week or two before I get unlimited showers for the rest of the month...then only 1 free coffee after buying 9 cups of their over priced slop.

Oh, and this isn't a complaint, just an observation. You know they warn about tolls from unmanned toll booths, and how expensive they are...it's true. There is a un-manned ezpass gateway in the Chicagoland area when you're coming off, I believe, I-57 onto I-294. No warning before the last exit that it's set up this way...well, I went thru it, 3 times, tried to find them thru the internet without any luck finding them. (there is a website on IL's toll road signs about paying missed tolls online). Well, maybe I should have tried harder to find them. Each toll was only $5.60, but the fine on top of that was $20 each...so instead of $16.80, I now owe the state of IL $76.80...now I know why they named that state Ill-annoy

They take a picture of your license plate when you go through and the company get your picture with the bill in the mail.
