You don't get prescribed 2 crazy pills unless you are an addict scamming the system, or you really needed that much help.

Either way, I have serious reservations about sharing the road with this person.

Depression isn't like a broken leg that heals.

You are very correct! Depression is nothing like a broken leg... It's more like High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Arthritis, Gout, and Erectile Dysfunction... One can, sometimes, take a simple pill, or two, on an ongoing program and it can, sometimes, be controlled.

Now I don't know this poster and we are not the ones that get to decide on if he can hold a CDL or not... But I wonder why you seem so judgemental about ones medical conditions?

Does your father/mother have a medical condition? Maybe others should mock them?

There's a saying that's been around longer than most of us - "When pointing a finger at someone there are three pointing back at you". I feel like some if not most of the people being so judgemental towards others here may need to take a minute to clean off the mirror and take a look at themselves before pointing fingers.

I've said it elsewhere, I have had to be prescribed schedule 1 narcotics due to a broken back many years ago for pain management. I wasn't a junkie, wasn't scamming the system, was VERY closely monitored by medical professionals and was able to do my job, safely and legally. Granted unlike depression and those types of medical conditions I was able to get past the pain with surgery and therefore got past the narcotics but it was nothing to be ashamed of.

I'm in pretty darn good shape and health especially for my age, I work out at a gym several mornings a week, eat healthy to the point of being obsessive, watch the labels on EVERYTHING I eat yet I'm on blood pressure medication and will be the rest of my life.

Moral of the story, there are some things people just don't have control over. Being judgemental and pointing fingers is something someone can control however some people on here seem to lack the mental capacity to exercise that control. They likely are the ones most in need of medicinal treatment of mental conditions though I don't think the drug companies have come up with a pill for stupidity or head-inserted-in-###.
