I'm considering the move to liquid/HM tank work from dry bulk. I would think requiring the extra endorsements the work inherently pays better. I'm in OH and run regionally, home on weekends and I like that schedule. Anyone have a company(s) to look into?
I was working for kenan advantage group. Hauling gasoline/diesel doing gas stations I busted ads doing close to my 70 for a gross of like 1500 if its worth it to you I don't know most weeks I netted 1k about 12-1300 gross and to get carded to the loading plants takes time and any errors at the plants and they can lock you out and will require.more training you also could get perminent lock out
That's about what I've seen before on other threads, money wise. I appreciate your candor. I am currently in the ballpark without the volatility and endorsements. My goal is to clear $13-1500 net weekly. I am close to start serious planning to go O/O but I want to exhaust all avenues before making a final decision. I'm looking for the highest paying freight as a company driver. Its not an easy mission and again I appreciate you helping me with my question. Stay safe, Vinny
That was why I went to fuel as I "thought" it would be profitable. Cumberland farms pays well but sticking and measuring tanks takes time to learn . I gotta get Rollin I'll post more on tank fill/ loading if you want in the morning
If you want to get in to the chemical side the money you talk about is very realistic. A lot of work is out and back. It depends on the terminal and the customers they service what type of operation it is.
I liked bulk better but, there’s more work with tankers. Where are you in Ohio? Brenntag is hiring a Cincinnati driver and it is 100% tanker, Hebron may also be hiring but it will be mostly van work.
