Going To Swift Truck Driving Institute August 6

Now, now, StoryTeller.

It's only 118 items on the PTI, not 150.

I'll not go on about Swift other than to say I'll never work for them- based on what they did to a friend of mine.

 

Im in swifty orientation right no in Inver Grove Heights, MN terminal. So far my first impression of the company is great. They are really friendly and seem pro-driver, well atleast the terminal in Inver Grove Heights MN hopefully the rest of the places are as well as this one is. Going out with a mentor guy for up to two weeks because I have experience then I get my own truck. Will keep you all posted on my experiences with swifty.

I wonder how much can we expect to make $$$ starting out after training? Hope its at least 7 or 800 a week..

Thanks for the good luck majik lady, just finished the two day orientation for Swift in Inver Grove Heights MN. It was very informative and fun, the mn terminal is so laid back and kinda lika a small company even though swifts the largest trucking company. Now gotta wait for a phone call tomorrow and then out with a trainer for two weeks then back on the road again. Yee ha!

 

I hear ya...I leave Sunday for Wed class I AM SO EXCITED. I will now be driving the big rig instead of watching in AWE

 

How do i do the signature thing most all of you have on the bottom of your posts thats cool.
