It's getting to the point in the last few weeks that every PP that I get from the Plus 1 I have to decline and set new eta's..I don't mind running hard but even a dog need's food and stop for a pee..I love how a computer dictates how we drive and don't have a clue if we can get the load there safely, legally and on time.

Just west of Indianapolis at a Loves with about three and a half hours to get to the final in Columbus. I'll figure out how I'm going to time the drive, hangout and delivery tomorrow; I have plenty of time to do that.

Ran into a hellacious thunderstorm in Effingham that was like someone aiming a fire hose at the windshield and shooting ice cubes out of a potato cannon. Temp dropped 20* in a few miles and I was sure the hail was going to break the windshield. Even the super truckers were down to 30mph with hazards on. I was freaked about the possibility of a tornado.

Here in Pawnee, IL. Today the planners just did not know what they are doing. Send a pplan, mt 50 mls and del 150, decline, then later get sent 3, pu 50 miles, del 140 then dh back 150 and del 200, then sit and wait until 1900 and on the 30th and del at 0000 on 5/2. Accepted the 2nd two. Hope that I did not screw myself. Was looking at that the last one again, and it said 0000 on 05/02. I hope that this means 2359 on the 1st and not 2359 on the 2nd. Been one of those days that I just can not remember.

Hubby's sitting waiting a load near Cincinnati. He's been waiting since noon. We hate the weekends!

Delivery at 0000 means the delivery appointment has not been set and won't be until a driver commits to the load. It will be sometime on the 2nd, sorry.

Thanks. Was just looking the 2nd one again, and I think that it is midnight deliery or 2359 on the 1st because it is showing a PTA of 0200 on the 2nd. now going to have to figure out how to drive this one, while showing some breaks. it just has to be a Plus 1 fiasco, and just where am I going to going to go at 0200 in Port Allen, LA.

Thanks. Turns out that since I committed to the last two and not the first, they removed all of them. The middle of the night del was a paper mill. What are you doing here fr8. Do you not have something better to do. :biggrin_2559:

And I was asking myself how you can accept a load that is deadheading back from the first, if you don't do the first to get there?

It's really no wonder why all three were removed from you.

They may have been trying to do you a favor by keeping you running, instead of sitting for a couple more days.
Those shorter runs pay more cpm as well.
Plus, they may have been getting you to an area that has better freight.

And since you refused loads, you can't get layover.
