TA Candler NC. Shut down at 1915et. Got what I think was the last spot. Don't even think about showing up here after 2000 and expect to park.

Red s-10: whatever you do, stay off that UT143. I made the mistake of going up over that to Panguitch. Beautiful.....spectacular drive. But don't do it. 13% uphill grade.

    ...MATS....for the night.

Not too bad. It's curvy and kinda steep in places, but you'll be fine. On the east side of Eisenhower (the tunnel) it's 35mph. Bears have been pretty militant about it. It's a gorgeous drive...I never saw rocks that big before. Or felt so tiny in a big-truck...as when I went through there the first time.

Small little T/S in Lanoke, AR. Supposed to have a home time for Sunday. Instead of letting me t-call in Cols, they are having me take it to Smithton, PA. Supposed to be a drop. The odds of getting another load home the same day, no idea. Not really sure is I like this home time policy.
