Got a violation today in SC for no 2019 IFTA sticker

    Thanks KB3, I know I can check my score online and am set up with pin etc. I was just curious if anyone knew if it for sure would affect my score or not because it's too early to tell. I have 15 days to submit the 'fix' to SC DOT anyway so i know it wouldn't happen fast.

    Looks like it won't from RideandRepair's experience.

    I do know that correlation about credit score on insurance costs and I'm very careful with my credit. I cashed out one of 2 pensions to get started when I left my old company just so I had a big safety net. I've only borrowed money for my tractor and put a lot down, very little personal debt otherwise either.

    Nope. IFTA stickers expire Dec 31. You need the decals on the truck and the certification IN the truck. QC fined me $300 several years ago......I had the decal but not the new cert

    OK. IFTA can be a hassle. But fuel taxes could be a lot more of a hassle before IFTA came along. Ask some long time drivers.
