Half my gauges aren't working 06 star

    Where is this box ? I have an 07 Western Star and mine is doing the exact same thing

    I never fixed mine yet either. I found a big silver box behind the Speedo but no bad wires that I could find.

    I checked the grounds and the power to every gauge and all the temperature gauges except water and do not work

    The fuel gauge also quit

    Is this box you're talking about inside the cab or under the hood on the firewall?

    Firewall on the outside towards the bottom where the left front steer tire throws everything on it.

    this is what I found , I fixed both wires and got oil temp gauge working but exhaust , rear and forward axle and fuel gauge still don't work ... 20170703_1131231.jpg

    looks like there are some more wires in there that may be rubbed thru in that cluster

    I fixed the obvious 2 wires ( 1 I had cut already and the bare one ) and checked the one right behind the thick white wire and it is just marked on the skin from the other bad wires ??

    this is what I found under hood right where air lines go into cab
