I was explained once in Sheridan, WY at the old Port of Entry that you don't have to enter all of the port of entries on I 90 there. It is all right to enter the first one. But then after they built the newer scale - west of Sheridan, the lady there told me to the contrary, that her -modern- port of entry I have to enter too, before leaving the state. The one in the middle...in Gillette I only entered the first time going through there but never after.

In 30 years I've never been in the Casper, WY port despite going thru there on a regular basis.

I've been to the one in Casper many times. Never when they were open, but after hours to check my weight.

That POE in Gillette I believe is only open weekdays. Can't remember the exact hours. Maybe someone who goes through there frequently can help. And I asked the woman working there if you had to go in to the POE if you've already been through one and she pointed to the sign that said "ALL Commercial Vehicles".

All these ladies at those WY scales would do this World a favor by staying home and cooking dinners for their spouses. They just waste time and my good mood, if I have it.

Actually this makes sense because it's a combined Montana/Wyoming POE. so you aren't entering the Wyoming side, but Montana wants to see you.

I'd be more concerned with the record than with the fine. I believe it's "disregarding a traffic control device", which is the same as running a red light.

That one in Sundance has red lighted me every time. I went through there four times in one day, and had to bring in paperwork every time. So stupid.
