    Thank you, Bumbacladwar. Yes, my intention is to start off (relatively) big and just stay with it ad infinitum, because money. While I did word my original post rather poorly when stating "the more dangerous, the better", perhaps instead it should have been "the more money, the better" however I suspect that the results would be even worse off. If I really was concerned about becoming John Q. Terrorist, the rig itself will do just fine with full tanks. No, it's about the bottom line -- the most cash the quickest. The only employers that have come to school have some pretty lackluster pay plans. Only one company that's come in so far actually pays based on performance, as well.

    Most LTL and line haul companies will require a hazmat endorcement. OD, YRC, Pitt Ohio, Holland to name a few.

    While this was true when you and I started driving, it's not the case anymore. The companies I listed above will hire students for P/DC. The only hazmat class that requires specialized training is class 7 radioactive.
