Like the guy posting earlier who owed 100k$ + for a 7 year old POS worth maybe 20k$. There's 20k more of these guys out there to fail in the next 18 months.

^Yellow" as Big as they were went bankrupt
She speaks the truth right here from 3:20 to 4:00 if you actually listen.
He speaks about the Abundance of Trucking Companies going Bankrupt weekly now. And
you got to realize this.! Those who operate their own Authority running off of the spot market alone dropping out like flys because of capacity. While Lease on O/o's lease to them who jumped onto their ship because they tried it and their boat sunk. Are possibly sinking with that carrier now. Carriers who are surviving have 'Direct Customers'.
Risky times now a days for any New Owner Operator.

Is it worth it? If you can lease onto a good company that is going to pay well for your services, ( mind you we are in a over capacity and they’re just isn’t magical money out there ) yes it is worth it if you were going to have your own authority and you already have a customer or multiple customers and have figured out your service and rate. (it is so competitive out there right now, you basically need to know a company that wants to hire you because they already know unlike you. Then, Yes it is worth it. If you’re going to just hope for the best.- This is not the time.
exhausted379 and Grumppy Thank this. -
You contradict yourself, you say you have no life, but your willing work more hours as an owner operator ? Trust me….. you will have even less of a life and a small bank account going that route. But GO FOR IT…… let us know how it turns out.
exhausted379, blairandgretchen, MM71 and 3 others Thank this. -
You will have to work more than 60 hours a week as an O/O. Unless you have an awesome niche market
exhausted379, blairandgretchen and Siinman Thank this. -
