I shut down at 13:15 today but I have to deliver this load at 09:00 tomorrow morning:biggrin_25513:, It sucks! but I'm pretty sure they'll just have me deliver then come back to the T/S and do a reset, I've only been driving since last friday (October 8th) so they know I'm new lol.

Just make sure they know you're out of hours man.....I have seen them put loads on drivers that are completely impossible doing because of hours. This can kick you in the but though too....you might lose a load or two. In the future if possible try not to drive more than 9 hours a day. And if possible when you are picking up or dropping try to not drive so much that day that you are using up alot of hours. it takes a bit to figure out the tricks to working the clock to your advatage but once you figure it out it's pretty easy. Good luck man be safe

How far are you from your destination? And how many hours did you use today?

He might not necessarily need a reset . Depends on his hours today, his distance from destination and his potential pick up point.

From last fri thru this fri I ran 4376 miles the first 2058 of I had 2 other guys in my truck, I had to bring them to there's, but I drove just me 3004 miles in my first 7 days. From what I hear from other Watkins Shepard Drivers our Dispatch doesn't do stuff like that on purpose anyway.....They've run me real hard this week I had to run those long days to get there on time, and I mean barely on time. Oh and I did just QC dispatch to tell them how many hours I have and I specifically said "Low on hours".

    Thanks for the help though!

I'm about 4 miles/ 10 Minutes away.......I ran 5.25 hours today 5 of which we're driving. I tried to see if I could have taken a 34 before delivering but I didn't have enough time.

Ok you still have 3.75 for tomorrow. If the company finds a load right there in the vicinity you might have time to grab it and get going or grab it and sit till midnight. But this way you'll get a bigger check next week instead of resetting when you might not have to. Of course if there is no load to pick up nearby you'll probably have to sit till Tues. All depends on the details.
