Help!! Snow expected in WY UT area.

Not picking on you, @DTP , but before traffic (nay, let's be blunt. Before the self-centered, no-skill, SWHs) became the nightmare they are now on 80, it was rarely closed down, and if it was, 30 was almost always open. Now they almost automatically close 30 at the same time as 80 because the same idiots who cause the 80 closure will have 30 FUBAR'd in short order if they don't. This open/close/open/close for 2 days garbage didn't happen before SWHs became the norm instead of the exception.

 

Sioux Falls, SD is where I'm holing up for the storm until Tuesday morning.

I'll be going off route by taking I-29 down to I-80 but I think the roads will be better.
No way am I going to take a bunch of county, state and U.S roads and highways after a heavy snow storm.

Don’t blame you, I’d do the same thing. Never worked for a penny pinching company that forced you to run the absolute shortest route possible so you’re #### right I’m running the interstates or US highways in weather...
