Ayup. And while my gut reaction is that what dvr posted is likely most of or even the entire truth. Ill wait to see court fileings. While you cant trust the judges to be impartial anymore to even a small degree. if the familys all have a good lawyer(s) then any of the OP that is true is going to be dragged into the light and depending on how much is accurate you can make a clear judgment of the rest.

Like i said before i dont trust anything that lines up too well with my preconcieved notions. Its way too easy to fall into confirmation bais or to just blindly trust what your shown....and if the last decade has taught us anything. There is no such thing as trustworthy news. Verify verify verify.

 

Probably best just to post a link to the PDF and maybe highlight a page or paragraph what it is you’re trying to convey.

Trust me, no one is going to read a 20 page pdf from a court filing.

If you insist you can save to file each page individually and upload that way.

On a side note..with the proposed changes to tort laws in Texas, if this should happen and passes it will be the end to any of those suits.

 

I will read them both, all 37 combined total of petition pages. I enjoy reading stuff like that. Plus, it helps me have an idea of what to cite as case law if I ever need to. As for the tort reform, that has kind of already happened years ago, with respect to medical malpractice anyway. Capping damages I think should be done, personally. And I am even amidst meeting with a lawyer for a potential medical malpractice claim. You have people suing for ridiculous amounts of money sometimes for a love tap to their car, claiming they felt the "worst pain ever". I think part of the issue usually is when insurance is involved. Trucking for example, its not a secret, $1,000,000.00 general liability policy.

 

I am not trying to step on anybody's toes here, but why would they just "assign" a date of birth anyway? I am truly curious is all. Did the guy or persons who had this happen just not like their birth date as it already was, or was it all part of changing identity?

 

Depends on who you ask. There is a thing going around they were esentially mass issueing IDs and just puting default info on them due to communication issues with the understanding they would be corrected later. Another theroy that they were issued to help obfuscate the fact many were illegals. Yet another one that its intentional so you can stack ballets.

Also to make my own personal stance clear so i dont get both sides ####ting on me. Im dubious on the whole mass issued licneses myself tbh....but a lot of even worse things have turned up recently so its hard to just dismiss it out of hand either even if it doesnt quite pass the sniff test. Afterall hard to say something doesnt stink when your surrounded by sewage. The trick is decideing if that specific thing stinks or its just guilt by association.

I just dont have the facts to tell if it was a 1 off local thing, a mass conspiricy. A give em a goodie bag and send em off thing or total ########. Hence why ive taken the stance of ill wait for more info. And why ive tried to stick to the vin number thing.

This whole thing has a lot of conjecture that doesnt quite seem to fit together. Its like your fit a puzzle together but someone filled the box with legos, peices from 4 other puzzles, a dead rodent and some jenga peices.

 

I was wrong, its 4 cases total and 70 pages. One of them has an amended petition. I will put them in order and upload a link I suppose to the PDF files for anyone to view, if they wish to.

 

I am clueless to any of it really myself. I do know that where my brother in law works there were two hispanic guys with the same driver license number and height on their driver licenses. They had to fire them both, because they both also had the same social or something. My brother in law said the licenses said the men were 6'4" tall. He said these guys were barely like 5'2".
