    I got hired on the teamsters at 22 with a cdl and no experience. that was for construction then work got slow. The others are right, there are several day jobs down there especially around the container yards and ports. problem imo is cost of living in socal, thats what drove me away from it. eventually someone will give u a shot with little experience.

    that all depends where you get i sometimes since you re new guy you re get the least amount of work, or sometimes then will take advantage for your low pay and run you like crazy, so just keep looking btw you have any experience or you fresh out of school?

    I am 21 years old. I work from 8 to 13 hours a day between 2 jobs at minimum wage and bring in less than 1600 a month. It's just not cutting it right now.
