believe it or not they dont; I have 2 felonies both in 1994 both for buying stolen property + 2 misdomenors no drugs, sex crimes , violence etc and just got turned down. The recruiter did tell me that they would have overlooked it if I had 6 months previous work..

Looks like companies like cr england and carolina cargo will have to be me start. I was hoping for some lube before grabbing the old ankles but I suppose I don't even qualify for lube

    Jarid Thanks this.

are you sure that's a misdemeanor? did you actually go to court and get convicted? sounds like the hospital would jsut sue you for a judgement for the money. It doesn't even sound lik e a crime was committed. ####, if everyone who didn't pay a bill got a criminal record, no body would be able to get a job!

Hay Ya'll the leaving the scene I hit their ### end and to guys got out PISSED I truly was affraid of a fight. So I went on "SLOW" no more than the speed limit with them behind me. Bout 15 mi. later state-boy pulled me over. I told him I was headed to Zackery city police and he still charged me. Me like a dump-### pleated guilty first court date. It happened in Dec. 2000 "BUT" It was not final til Jun '09 and PAM said it was like it happened then. No probation fine NOTHING was unfinished. The point is C1 said they run everything and I had a job if I passed school, physical and drug test. Then Pam done a better check. C1 said PAM had the money to do a deeper check. I went to a day before I was too graduate that was the thing that pissed me off. Well I got a permit and thats it after almost 3 wks. and about $200 plus the money I could've made while there. Pam was the only company that would take me just by calling the men I had worked for the 4 yrs. prior. Some of u know about working construction, working for a person with 1 r 2 employee. I couldn't prove my work history with a check-stub. Run in to anyone that will use me and let me get my CDL's with their rig. I've got "NO" problem staying away from home and I know how to travel. And I drove my dads old '70 Mack "double shift" an a 26 yard trailer to the clay pit and back for 3 years. It was about 13 mi. each way, through the country it wasn't easy driving and I was 15-17 yrs. old. Well hope my dream will come true one day. You all be careful, safe and " PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ALMIGHT DOLLARS RULE THE WAY YOU DRIVE". Holler if any of you are around Baton Rouge and need help. I help any and all in need white, yoller, orange, black or red if I can. GOD PLESS

Unclehams, sorry I read a thread were you said you had a Felony for sun classes, buying seven or six pairs instead of five or something. But I read above were you said you have Two felonies and two misdemeanors. wow what a criminal enterprise.kidding.....anyway I was wondering how you have been able to make a living with that history. I have one misdemeanor conviction and can't get a job flushing someones toilet.although mines resent and stiil on probation until next month...just a suggestion to people reading these threads try and contact you're States pardon and parole boards or what ever they call them in you're states, and try for a pardon that's the only way to get you're life back. there real hard to get and depends on you're governor liberal or conservative law and order types. I just got my letter yesterday for a hearing for my petition, and I live in a liberal State. although in november we may get a Republican Governor their goes my chances, because it could take years to hear a decision. good luck folks.......

The reason you can't get a job right now is because of the probation. Has nothing to do with the crime itself. You're, technically, still serving your sentence. Once your probation ends, you shouldn't have such a difficult time. Time is key in anything though. The more time goes by, the better it looks.
