hope your right about grain moving locally in march, wheathauler. Had to hook the john deere to my 'ol pete this morning, dang steer tires were sunk 4 inches, couldn't budge the sucker without a little tug from the jdeere, been sittin' for 4 days ,had me a dandy offer on a load of ddg though, deadhead 74,back 74 miles loaded,$6/ton, last time a loaded at that place i had to walk and stomp down the tarp to get 22.5 tons of the fluffy stuff on,and broker said he thought he might could ''sqeeze'' out another $20 cause i probably would have to wait 3 or 4 hours to get loaded,i told him, ''no thanks,i don't want you to sqeeze them any,you might break your fingers since your ''sqeezing'' me so hard,i'll just pass on that load.''
I guess you had a good time with the grandkids though, how old are they?
Has anybody talked to Bullhaulerswife to see if they got the block repaired,it sounded like a bad deal for 'em,hope everything worked out ok

Just for grins I had Cornhusker do a quote on a new trailer. I asked about hieght VS width. According to them the 102x78 is heavier than a 96x84. 6inches of beams VS 6" of aluminum skins and will have more capacity. Calculating just the walls gives you-----(102x78x42=2032cuFt) (96x84x42= 2352cuFt) It was $279.00 for each 6" height increase.dairyman, montana cowboy, Big John and 2 others Thank this.
