Yeah 3/4 will work. Any size really. If it's bigger just trim it down. Zip tie everything snug. You can get those plastic brake separators pretty cheap at Fleetpride, Truckpro, etc but I usually just cover the air lines with slit radiator hose then zip them together so they can't rub.

Couple years ago I had 25 tons of 1 1/5" rock in an AlumaTech end dump. Backed up to the pile, stood her up.... had her on the last stage when that line busted...... man that tub came down in a quick hurry with a fastness. Had to clean my shorts out after that deal.

And I agree with the others: heater hose and zip ties is the way to go.

Power steering hoses cinched together. That's how I do a couple of hoses around each other, air lines or whatever.

image.jpeg I caught this hose rubbing on this bolt awhile back before it rubbed all the way through I just put a piece of heater hose with a zip tie.

A hose full of lead is much more amusing and hav more frequent opertunitys for use than using the hose for a stop-gap.

Many lines got the heater hose treatment this weekend. Gave me an opportunity to spot a few more potentially bad chafing issues in the process. Worked great!

Been doing this since, since I been trucking. I do it to anything that rubs, even electrical wiring.

Heater hose is the sacrificial lamb. Nothing will last forever except Twinkies.
