One more question.....do they have uniforms or does Swift have a dress code for street clothes? And when do benefits start? 90 days?

Benifits after 90 days. No uniforms. Dress code is no t shirts with nasty stuff written on them. You can buy shirts that have swift on them if you want.

    TbonesPapa Thanks this.

Inverters are not allowed. If you have one, pull it every time you enter a terminal or terminal fuel line. If you're found with one in a company truck they can fire you on the spot.

Some trucks have am/fm some am/fm/cd

Uniforms are optional and yes there is a dress code that is all to often ignored so that some swift drivers look like pigs and embarrass the rest of us.

Some of the drivers on dedicated fleets wear uniforms but they've chosen to....I don't wear a uniform and neither does my husband. I may though.....it'll be a big freaking fur coat, eskimo boots and big cap.

    NaNa

I have a small plug in ionverter that I use to charge my phone and computor. I thought these were ok as lonjg as they weren't wired in. Most of the drivers on the account that I am on have these.

we have the same thing......we just don't keep them out where anyone can see them. *s*

Also they aren't the inverters used for running microwaves etc. Trust me......if I could........I would have one to run a microwave. *sighs*

Hey! Did he do right by you? I'm so glad he did. You'll find great people there at the academy.

Listen, I'm scared of ice. I wasn't raised around it and I'm scared I'm going to fall. You should see me out, hanging onto the side of the truck as if I'm going to fall off a cliff LOL I'd like some cleats on my nikes lol
