The only number I had was a general 800 number. I don't have a direct number to dispatch yet.
He wasn't in a dead zone, just being a careful driver going through mountains in TN.
We have NET10. They actually have pretty dang good coverage and don't charge for roaming. Texting is only 1/2 a minute. Different plans to choose from to.

There are also the old standby's. Me, I prefer smoke signals (toss'em off my cigarette), but they tend to get lost in major urban areas. Too much pollution messing with the signal....

I have Tmobile and I have good coverage in Texas and most of NM. It roams a lot but it's connected. The only time I had no coverage was in a small town in Western Arkansas. Nobody had coverage except a guy with Alltel. Verizon, ATT, Sprint were all dead.

maybe has was at the strip joint getting lap dances and could'nt get in his pocket to pull out the phone.

Go on the carriers web site to find the dead spots. They are not the same for every carrier. -

Which part? Cause alot of it's pretty f'ed up...
Just sayin'.
Another method of contact is the tried and true telegraph...but I consider them newfangled things to be pretty unreliable. I'll stick with my smoke signals, and pony express the really long messages....
