Remember those yellow speed limit advisory signs are A.for the four wheelers and B. Advice, meaning if you feel it is to fast or faster then you comfortable with, SLOW DOWN

The problem ,especially in LA, is they have built the on and off ramps for cars. They also have to look at drainage during rain storms to make the ramp as safe as it can be. What I've always done is take the exit speed and subtract 10mph. I never apply power until the unit is straight. So These guys just might be going too fast and then getting on the power too soon. Over they go.

Knowing your truck and knowing your load is the main thing to keep from rolling. Knowing your surroundings is another important thing to know. Yesterday when I came out of Iowa I used the whole road on the switch back off HWY 2. Signs running east are posted at 50 when you're headed west it's posted at 45. I was running 40 and still had to use the whole road. Remember freight shifts so even if you don't roll a truck you can still damage what's in the trailer. Too many idiots out there think they can be speed racer and go flying around clovers at 40 hell I take the clover to get on I80 off hwy 77 at 15 and I've usually got people whining and complaining about how slow I'm going. Ohhh boo fricken whoo do you want to be sitting here waiting while they call a wrecker to pick up a rolled over cow truck? Didn't think so driver so zip it!:biggrin_2552:

He'd get to watch the truck I'd have to go chase my cows to keep them from running out into the middle of the highway. They taste better when they're not road kill:biggrin_25525:

Safest bet is to do all of your braking while your vehicle (truck and trailer) is in a straight line. Braking wrong is just as deadly as speeding.
