I'll go in on that bet with you too... I'm looking at the market and talking to a few guys out there and that's what we are thinking too.

I remember this guy!!!! It was great entertainment when the rigs would be circulating for hours and the rumble of the gas busters would send you into some kind of hypnotic state. 24 hour shifts with nothing but copenhagen and monster. All in some type of apocalyptic nuclear winter. Even as I lay here in my nice warm bed here in Tampa FL, I still miss it!

How much more do you need to make to make it worth your while?
They will not pay more just because the price of oil goes up. If they can get guys to work cheaper they will never raise the rate.
They need to be both :
    A, short of drivers and
B in a situation where they are losing money because of the shortage
In economics there is a thing called "sticky wages" , they have been able to lower wages in the last two years and that is TOUGH to do since no one likes working for less. If they start paying more they will lose that ground and wont get it back until the next bust.

Dont get me wrong, that is what I am looking for as well. For me the number is at least 1600 hundred a week and 2k is enough to really get my attention.
Too easy right now to be 1k a week as a company driver otr and not have to live in a mancamp.
I really hope to hit the patch in the spring.

320 would get me out there.
What does a 320 day look like? Long hours? Do you get a nap?
