4 to 5 weeks then go home 4 to 6 days. On average about a month is my limit, time to go home and enjoy what that mortgage payment is for.

I leave out around sun-up...and usually try to make it home again by sun-down. If I work a weekend (rare) it pays well and is usually only a half day.
Longest I've ever stayed out? Probably 14 years ago, I would stay out 2-3 weeks at a time...still didn't reset on the road, though. I'd pace myself and slept in a new location every night. Over the years, my attitude hasn't changed: IF I'm going to sit somewhere, it better be the house. -

usually outta the house 10-12 hours a day. 14 if it’s a real long day. occasionally i get lucky on a friday and they cut my run so i’m only out 7-8 hours.
