I regularly run 700 to 750 and have run as much as 785 in 11 hours legally...In a 75 MPH area with my truck which is by the way an average of about 71 MPH.

Keep the left door shut and run hard and you'll get there way before most of the other trucks will.

    Raiderfanatic Thanks this.

Yesterday I logged 475 miles LOCALLY loading/hauling equipment with multiple stops. I plead the 5th for hours. Thank goodness for PAPER LOG'S. And Im not mentioning what I did the day before, only that I got "SOME" rest :biggrin_25511:. Did I mention it is in Cali where the "55" mph is EVERYONE's favorite state.

Remember, those miles stated are just a heads up for compliance.

That doesn't mean you can't do more.....

But as we all know, as the number of miles per day increases, so does the need for

    logbook accuracy.

Same old game, as long as it "looks good on paper" !!

    BigJohn54 and GasHauler Thank this.

As long as you are NOT in a governed truck, on paper logs, and don't have a lot of stops or urban areas, there is no reason that you cannot log 5 MPH less than whatever the speed limit is.

Well get out your calculator, if you are certified to operate one, and multiply the number of hours you drove times 5 mph less than the speed limit for where you drove, and that is a safe total number of miles that you could log.

    Is that any better?
