How many of you drivers have a G.E.D.

    Diploma.
    4 year Degree. (paid for it driving a truck)
    Paid for my wifes Masters degree...driving a truck.
    I have seen Doctors, Engineers, Teachers, even heard about a Professor. All driving trucks.
    Like in any blue collar carrier there are all kinds of people with all kinds of educations. Makes for a nice mix.

    A load of letter behind your name does not a person make. Got my GED after joining military and retired after 22 yrs...an LPN.

    Now into my 2nd week as an OTR trucker.

    It isn't always what you have a degree in, but what you've learned and know from actual life experiences that provides the real education.

    Sure...some sheepskin gets you higher pay, but it doesn't always bring you respect from your peers.
