    I see that you're in California. With decent companies, I've seen $24/hour to 34/hour. Some pay overtime after 40 and some follow California labor laws and pay overtime after 8 and double time after 12. There is a 95% chance that you will be working more than 40 hours per week.
    As has been said before, it all depends. If you're an experienced driver and not making at least $70k driving local here then you're doing something wrong.

    I occasionally have to "tailgate" a load(10-24 pallets) and I do not get any extra,its just one of the services we provide. I'm ok with it. This gig is the easiest trucking job I have ever had.
